A Day at the Races

The Corporate Challenge Day at the Races has a race card consisting of up to seven races depending on the length of your program. After studying the form you will be free to place bets with our bookies. With bets such as on the nose, place, each way, trifecta, quinella and boxed bets being accepted there will be no shortage of options for the die hard punter or the novice race goer in our betting ring.

A large screen at the front of the room will telecast all races allowing the punters to see the action. With real horses, real callers and real jockeys battling it out this will be as close to the real thing as you can get. After each race the bookies will pay out to the winning punters and move on to the next race.

At the end of the race day punters will undoubtedly have pockets full of cash. The final item on our schedule will be the famous syndicate race named after your organisation. The horses will be paraded for all to see and punters will form syndicates. It will then be an old fashioned Calcutta as our syndicates buy, through auction, the horse of their choice. The race to end all races will then be run – with teams either ending up in the gutter or in the member’s tent.

The Day at the Races is the ideal indoor recreational team building activity. Suitable for any group size, this team building activity focuses on risk taking, negotiating, strategy development , communication and FUN!
