Jump in the time machine and head straight to the 1980s, It’s a Knockout is back, and it’s bringing the fun. Inspired by the cult TV show of the same name, this is a high-energy event packed with colour, costumes, and wildly entertaining team challenges. From quirky relays to offbeat obstacle games, teams go head-to-head in a series of physical and playful activities designed for laughs and full-team engagement. No special skills required, just enthusiasm, team spirit, and maybe a tutu or two. It’s retro, ridiculous, and a guaranteed mood boost.

Programs
The Corporate Challenge Events team were extremely professional at all times prior to and during our two “It’s A Knockout” activities. They designed the best possible program to enable us to meet our team bonding goals and their activities were extremely enjoyable for all participants. We would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for these types of events.

To say the group were concerned about this Team Building activity prior to the event is an understatement! However all of these concerns were put to the side once John came into the room and got us going. The event was engaging, fun, well organised and really got us working together… a week later and we are still talking and laughing about it.

How it Works
Welcome
Teams arrive at the arena to the unmistakable theme music from It’s a Knockout – retro tunes, bright colours and a warm welcome set the tone. There’s no prep needed, just a willingness to jump in, laugh out loud, and represent your team in style. Costumes, bandanas or 80s flair are encouraged to add a little extra spark to the action.
Play Based Challenges
Once grouped, teams rotate through a series of fast-paced, low-pressure activities; think oversized props, creative relays, coordination tests, and games that reward teamwork over athleticism. Each challenge is scored, and every round adds points to your team’s total. Expect team chants, surprising rivalries, and a whole lot of cheering from the sidelines.
Competition
With each round hosted by an energetic MC, the pace stays high and the competition lighthearted. Every person gets involved, whether they’re running, cheering or solving problems under pressure.
The Winners Are…
At the end, points are tallied, medals awarded, and the winning team gets their Knockout moment. But every team walks away smiling.
