The Timber Yard
The Timber Yard is a landmark Melbourne venue of unprecedented size and event flexibility. The site has been restored, remaining true to its heritage of second-hand timber storage and fabrication. The Timber Yard is home to four unique event spaces. Among these is a 1,000sqm lush turfed outdoor area perfect for a wedding ceremony, product launch or cocktail-style event. The back of the property hosts a 1,400sqm warehouse space suited to any type of event, big or small. Both of these spaces can host up to 1,500 guests seated or standing. Starting with Corporate Challenge Events as a Casual Event Assistant, Alene quickly upskilled to become an Event Facilitator. Within 12 months Alene was offered the role of State Manager, Victoria. Now Alene gets to assist, facilitate, and manage a small team. Alene’s favourite parts of her roles are the ability to create a positive experience from point of enquiry right through to delivering the event and post event communication. Alene enjoys engaging with clients, peers, charities, and venues, all while ensuring every event shines.

Event Manager
Introducing Coops, an experienced and people-oriented event planner. He brings a wealth of experience from his time in the outdoor education field, having worked for three seasons in the United States and six months in New Zealand. Coops holds a BSC in geography which has come in handy with all his travels! In the events industry, Coops is a seasoned professional. When his not boosting positive team cultures he has a strong commitment to non-profit events. Most recently, he planned, organised and completed a 51KM sponsored walk which raised $8,000 for cancer charities. He prides himself on participating in many NFP events and overall he has raised over $17K for charities across the globe. Coops brings this passion and dedication to every event, super charging teams all across Victoria.

Taleah is an adventurer at heart!
She loves to travel and explore new cultures, having recently returned from seven months in New Zealand working at a YMCA camp teaching children the power of play, and then seven months backpacking around the UK.
Taleah started working at CCE in July 2021 and spent most of her lockdown linking workplace teams through online team events, her personal favourite being online Bingo! Now she’s excited to be out on face to face events and reconnecting teams all over Australia. Taleah loves meeting people from all over the world and hearing about their different cultures and lifestyles. She has a Cert 3 in fitness and loves spending her time off in the great outdoors hiking, camping and adventuring.
