Karts for Hearts
Think your team has what it takes to build the ultimate racing machine? Karts for Hearts puts collaboration, creativity and clever thinking in the driver’s seat. Teams compete in a series of games to earn the best gear for their build, then work together to design, construct and decorate a custom billy kart. But this isn’t just about engineering, it’s about persuasion. Teams also pitch their kart to the judges with a sales presentation to seal the win. There’s creativity, competition, and connection but the real reward is watching a child take the wheel of something your team built. That’s the moment they’ll remember.

Tim is a fantastic facilitator. He keeps things moving at an appropriate pace and the feedback from the team this morning is that everyone enjoyed the day. There were a couple of comments on Tim’s style and how much people enjoyed him as a facilitator. Tim has got to know members of the team (this is our third event) and has established a rapport that assists in making the day more enjoyable.
It was great to see our group of leaders come together and engage in a variety of activities. There was no point where the group were not enjoying themselves or getting value from the session.
We cant thank Corporate Challenge enough for a wonderful day. Without a doubt, the feedback from our teams was so positive and clearly being able to do an activity, while working on such a good cause, was such a feel good moment and emotional for some as well. Inspirational and Energising for sure. A call out to how well the Corporate Challenge Team all executed the day, as it was upbeat and fun whilst still clearly having a good purpose. Brilliant facilitation and great customer service.

Challenge-Based Play
No parts? No problem you’ll earn them. Teams go head-to-head in a mix of recreational and problem-solving challenges that test quick thinking, collaboration, and creativity. From wheels to frames, every piece of kart-building gear must be unlocked through play. The stronger your teamwork, the better your build kit. Start fast, or finish clever.
The Build
Armed with earned equipment, teams bring their billy karts to life; assembling, decorating, and branding their design for max impact. Then it’s time to pitch. Each group steps up and sells their creation with flair and persuasion. Judges score on performance, originality, and the story behind the machine. No idea is too bold.
The Twist
Just as the final scores are revealed and the room is riding high, the real moment lands. A local children’s charity steps into the space; ready to receive every kart. That’s when it hits. What your team built won’t just be judged, it’ll be driven. By kids. For joy. For real. And it means everything.
