Toys for Tykes
You’re never too old for toys but building one? That’s next level. Toys 4 Tykes is a purposeful team experience where groups work together to design, construct, and decorate a brand-new wooden toy for a child in need. Teams earn their way to the workbench through playful challenges, then roll up their sleeves to create something truly special. At first, it feels like a test of teamwork and creativity. But when the doors open and the children arrive, medals in hand, everything shifts. That’s when your team realises what they really built: joy, pride, and something that matters.

Toys for Tykes was a wonderful initiative focused on teamwork and most importantly, giving back. It was hard to find a dry eye in the room by the end of the session! Thank you to Dani and the team at Corporate Challenge events, we had excellent feedback from our participants.
A great time was had by all with the fun team work activities and then building Toys for very deserving children. Travis was a brilliant facilitator and having Ashton come in to receive the toys and tell everyone more about where the toys would be going made everything more real. Thank you!
We completed the Toys and Tykes challenge. Great challenge for a team of 50 and with the teachers strike on that day we allowed the team members kids to participate. Not only did we feel great about the toys being gifted to the community, team members gave the feedback that they had a great day. We completed a few other challenges that were a lot of fun. The team really enjoyed themselves.
Toys for Tykes program was a wonderful way to give back and made it so rewarding to hear how the toys would help out families at Christmas time. Hugh was an amazing facilitator and kept the group engaged throughout. The additional games helped the team relax and get competitive as a lot had never met each other before. We all walked away raving about the morning. Thankyou again!

How Play Turns into Purpose
Mission
Your team’s challenge is to build a high-quality children’s wooden toy, designed with care, built with teamwork, and finished with pride. It’s more than just a hands-on task; it’s a meaningful experience disguised as fun. And while you’re focused on creativity and construction, something much bigger is quietly taking shape.
Challenge-Based Play
Before construction can begin, teams take on a series of playful, strategic challenges to earn the tools, paint, and decorative elements needed to complete their toy. Think quick thinking, big energy, and plenty of banter. Each win unlocks an item and every item brings your team one step closer to the workbench.
The Build
With gear in hand, it’s time to build. Teams assemble their wooden toy from scratch, then bring it to life with colour, decoration and detail. Structure, creativity and team dynamics all play a part in the final judging. Only one team will walk away crowned Toys 4 Tykes Champions.
The Twist
Just when teams think it’s all over, the door opens, and children from the supported charity enter the room to present the medals. The room shifts. That’s the real reward: a shared moment of surprise, pride, and the power of doing something that truly matters.
