Flat Pack Frenzy
There’s something strangely satisfying about cracking a flat-pack code, especially when the final product becomes part of someone’s fresh start. In Flat Pack Frenzy, teams race the clock (and each other) to build ready-to-assemble furniture through a mix of strategy, teamwork, and play. But this isn’t just about screws and screwdrivers. It’s about helping families doing it tough get back on their feet, one perfectly built piece at a time. When the final item is revealed and the charity steps in, the room shifts and those tables and chairs mean something much more.

Our Senior Leadership Team were so grateful, and also for approaching our chosen charity and ensuring that the CEO was able to attend the presentation was just wonderful. Thank you so much Monique to you and your amazing team, I most certainly will complete the feedback form, and very much look forward to doing more business with Corporate Challenge in the future.
Thank you, Dwain, Monique and Anita for facilitating our team building event at our annual region conference. It was a very well run event, considering all the logistics behind the scenes, and we also greatly appreciated the professional and timely communication every step of the way. The feedback from the participants has been amazing with many commenting on how rewarding the afternoon was, and it was indeed the perfect way to end the day.
Our team building event was a success. All 100+ staff were engaged and understood every activity. Hugh and his facilitators were clear with their instructions and were active throughout the event to make sure everyone understood what they were doing. Everyone had fun and walked away at the end feeling upbeat about the team bonding that took place
I really like Coops’ facilitation style – he was engaging, and kept our energy up throughout the challenge. The activity (constructing furniture) was great and felt meaningful.

How Play Turns into Purpose
Mission
Your team’s job? Build a piece of flat-pack furniture that’s functional, stylish and ready to be loved. But here’s the catch you’ll need to earn the right to build first.
Challenge-Based Play
Before tools touch timber, teams compete in playful, fast-paced challenges to earn their materials. Whether it’s brain games, creative puzzles or physical tasks, every win gives you an edge and an essential Allen key.
The Build
With tools and parts secured, it’s time to get hands-on. Teams get to work measuring, screwing, assembling and adding finishing touches. But it’s not just speed that counts, it’s precision, design, and heart. Bonus points for flair and function.
The Twist
Just as teams take a step back to admire their work, the energy changes. A local charity representative arrives, sharing how each item will support families starting over after hardship or crisis. The team handover is emotional, real and unforgettable. Those furniture pieces? They’re now the foundations of a new beginning.
